Pic2Pic is a very good image conversion utility. It’s impressive how much complexity can be achieved with such a simple interface.

The most ingenious part is the “Graphic actions” tab. That’s the place where you add the effects/operations that you want to be applied on your images. The interesting thing about it is that you create a list of actions and depending on the way you order them, different effects can be achieved. The instant preview panel makes it easy to adjust the actions so that you get the result that you desire.

There are numerous file formats that this program supports and the list that is already large can be extended by downloading a patch from the developer’s site.

Images can be converted to any of the popular image formats and even to PDF files. Conversion speed and quality are exceptional.

Although so many options are squeezed into this utility, the interface is neatly organized.

Graphic actions cannot be customized to the smallest detail but all the important aspects can be tweaked. The same is true for the rest of the program.

In conclusion, this is a great image converter that works in an interesting and effective way. Even the licensing options are interesting (e.g. you can buy one that is functional for just one week).
